Founded by Elizabeth Honey, Honey + Fleur’s mission is simple. Whilst we cannot change the world, we can help make every day a little better through flowers. More specifically British grown flowers.
After a career in the corporate world and many years in HR, Elizabeth experienced the positive impact of flowers on her mental health and set up Honey + Fleur to bring this to the workplace. As she ran Honey + Fleur, she became more aware of where the flowers she was using came from. It felt increasingly wrong to be using flowers grown around the world, covered in chemicals and lacking scent. Instead she turned to British grown flowers involving no airmiles, chemicals and naturally in season. During the British growing season, beautiful, natural and sustainable, British grown flowers were the only flowers she used.
Her commitment to using British grown flowers led to her recent pivot away from selling and providing flowers to the workplace, home and online. Instead her sole focus now is to encourage consumers to make British grown flowers their first choice and for flowers companies and florists to offer British grown flowers as their main offering.
Together we can all work towards to making British grown flowers first choice so please join us! Our newsletter is here to provide you with everything floral from what cut flowers are in season, best buys, meeting people bringing flowers to us, flower farmers and where you can experience the benefits of flowers yourself from flower farm tours, workshops and exhibitions and shows. Just lots of flower related content and no selling - just our suggestions.
We look forward to sharing with you.
